Fast-rising event-planning and public-relations company, Taylor Made Events and PR Management, has been giving back in celebration of its third anniversary.

The company has contributed monetary and in-kind donations to assist in the building of a television news set for the CARIMAC TV studio at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. The building of this set forms part of the CARIMAC course, Communication Analysis and Planning II (CAP 2), in which final-year integrated marketing communication and journalism students will launch the CARIMAC Student Network (CSN), which aims to share news and other content using an online platform.

In addition to this contribution, Taylor Made has provided media relations and other PR support to the University of Technology's Marketing Seminar 2015/16 Team for their Brand Fair titled 'Brand Jamaica' and charity runs.

Taylor Made CEO Talisa Taylor said: "We are a young company, but we do believe in giving back to institutions that assist in the training of students in the areas of marketing, advertising and PR. I am a current student and will soon be a graduate of CARIMAC, so these contributions will become more frequent as my company grows."

Taylor Made also sponsored the recently concluded SunCity High School Disc Jock Competition, which featured more than 18 high schools in St Catherine, Kingston and St Andrew.

Taylor added: "Before I embarked on my career in entertainment, I was trained as a teacher at the esteemed Mico Teachers' College, so I am naturally drawn to students. Last year, we sponsored a computer to the Middleton Preparatory School in Linstead, St Catherine, and we are looking to contribute more in the near future."

Taylor Made Events and PR Management is a registered company of young professionals from various areas of media, including personalities, publicists, event planners and producers.

It offers event planning, consultations and event executions, public-relation services for small businesses, entertainment personalities, artistes, events and brands.

Talisa Taylor is the public relations officer of SunCity radio.
