A St Catherine teenage was stabbed 46 times by men who raped her before taking her life. Cleo-Lisa Griffiths, who was 15 at the time, was on her way from a wake in Ewarton, St Catherine, when she was lured into an abandoned building by men who reportedly took turns raping her before stabbing her 46 times.

Three men, Jerome Gordon, Joel Lennox, and Andre Doyly, all of Ewarton addresses, were charged with murder.

stand trial

A preliminary enquiry was held in the St Catherine Parish Court, and yesterday Parish Judge Natalee Brooks decided they should stand trial in the St Catherine Circuit Court on September 16.

Gordon was 17 at the time of the crime.

Allegations are that on January 6, Griffiths' mutilated body with its throat slashed was found in bushes at Charlton Meadows in Ewarton, St Catherine.

An investigation by Detective Corporal Lloyd Knight of the Ewarton police resulted in the men being charged with murder.
