I killed my niece- St Catherine woman pleads guilty to manslaughter charge
A St Catherine woman has admitted to killing her niece following a dispute in 2007.
Marjorie Russell, 50, of Reeds Pen, Braeton, Portmore, St Catherine, plead guilty to manslaughter and in the St. Catherine Circuit Court on Thursday.
She is to be sentenced on April 28.
She is Marjorie Russell 50-year-old labourer of Reeds Pen, Braeton Portmore St Catherine.
When Russell appeared before Justice Evon Brown,she plead guilty to the death of Marsha Russell-Grant, her niece.
The court was told that the two had an argument which escalated to a physical confrontation. Russell used a knife was used to stabbed Russell-Grant.
She later died in hospital from injuries received.
