Students held for stealing school's computers
Two grade 11 students of the Ewarton High School in St Catherine have been charged with the theft of two computers from the institution.
The two teenagers were charged with larceny by police today. They were granted station bail in the sum of $40,000 each. They are booked to appear in the St Catherine Juvenile Court in Portmore on May 5, 2016.
Allegation are that on Monday the computer lab at the institution where the boys attend, was broken into and two computers valued $60,000 stolen. A report was made to the Ewarton police and an investigation launched.
The police found the stolen items at the juveniles' home in Moneague, St Ann and Ewarton in St Catherine. They are answering to charges of simple larceny and malicious destruction of property.
