Police Seize Tear Gas Grenade and Ammunition in Papine

A tear gas grenade and several rounds of ammunition were recovered in Papine, St. Andrew by policemen on Wednesday.

The Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU) say the lawmen were on patrol in an area known as ‘Premix’, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., when they made the discovery.

The CCU said that the lawmen were on an operation in the community when the items were found in a bag in bushes. 

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
