Jamaican woman remanded in Barbados court

A Jamaican woman was remanded on Saturday when she appeared at the District “A” Magistrate court on multiple drug charges.

She is 24-year-old Teneisha Greene.

According to www.barbadostoday.bb , Greene appeared at the District “A” Magistrate court, slapped with the offenses of possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, trafficking cannabis, and importation of cannabis.

THE STAR gathered that she arrived in that country on Friday.

Reports are that a search of her luggage by customs officers uncovered four packages of cannabis weighing three kilograms.

They were allegedly hidden in a false compartment of her suitcase.
