Gleaner journalist Gary Spaulding has died
Veteran Gleaner journalist Gary Spaulding, has died.
His body was discovered at his St Andrew home this afternoon by the police and co-workers who became concerned after not being able to reach him.
His body was in a state of decomposition and an on-the-spot post mortem is to be done.
Police investigators are still on the scene.
The veteran journalist, 52, is mostly known for his coverage of parliamentary and political events for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his son, Andre and three daughters, Kerry, Kayla and Kelsie; two sisters, Colette and Yvonne; and three brothers, Gregory, Leighton and Donovan.
Spaulding's death, follows that of another Gleaner colleague, Glenroy Sinclair, on Saturday morning.
Sinclair died from a heart attack he suffered while at work Friday afternoon.
