HISTORIC - McLeod wins Ja's first ever 110m hurdles gold
History was made once more by a Jamaican in Rio, this time by Omar McLeod, who last night became the first Jamaican to win gold in the Olympics Men's 110 metres hurdles.
Leading from the start, McLeod achieved the feat with a time of 13.05 seconds ahead of Orlando Ortega of Spain 13.17 seconds and Dimitri Bascou of France who ran 13.24 seconds. Jamaica has now struck gold three times at the Rio Olympics.
Social Media was in a frenzy over McLeod as congratulatory post were trending non stop for the Olympic gold medalist.
