St Thomas Technical in mourning as principal dies
The St. Thomas Technical High School opened its doors for the new school year on Monday, but did so without its principal, Audrey Bryan-Webber, who died on Saturday.
"We are sadden by her passing and we have organised for a team from the counselling unit of the ministry to visit the school," Bertram Anderson, the school board's chairman said.
Yvonne Madhoo-Donegan, the school's vice principal, told THE STAR that Bryan-Webber was gearing up for the start of school today.
“She was not well, but before the break she was doing quite well. She was at work up to week before last Thursday,” Madhoo-Donegan said.
“We are saddened but the Lord knows best. This affects us deeply. She is a stalwart and we were looking forward to sitting down and putting things in place,” the vice principal added.
