Police seek help in identifying body found in Kingston

The Denham Town police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a male, believed to be in its late thirties, that was found on Asquith Street, Kingston 12, on Sunday.

The body is of brown complexion, slim build, about 5 feet 8 inches long, and was clad in a black merino, black pants and a pair of black shoes.

Reports are that about 3 p.m., residents saw the body under a tree wrapped in a tarpaulin and a black plastic bag. The police were alerted, and upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue pending a post mortem.

Anyone with information that can assist lawmen in their investigations is being asked to contact the Denham Town Criminal Investigation Branch at 948-6443, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
