They are Horace Gyles, Managing Partner of HBG Associates and Tracey Lettman-Duncan, Manager of the Pineapple Hotel in Ocho Rios.

Three small business owners who are winners in the Scotiabank Vision Achievers Programme plan to use technology that was once available only to large firms to fulfil their expansion needs.

Each winner received a $150,000 tech boost from Digicel Business and will use it to deploy cloud backup, web support, and a closed user group. They are, The Pineapple Hotel, HBG Associates, and Longville Park Pharmacy.

The three emerged top performers from a field of 25 participants, following an intense 17-week training programme.

"For a lot of small businesses, ICT holds the key to their growth," shared Brian Bennett-Easy, general manager of Digicel Business.

Tracey Lettman-Duncan, manager of the Pineapple Court Hotel, said: "I'm very thankful for this prize from Digicel. I hope to use it to develop a closed user group to improve staff communication in my business and get some high-speed Internet."
