Man to appear in court for buying British passport
Officials at the Passport Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) arrested and charged 41-year-old Horace Joseph of Queensborough Terrace in Golden Acres, St Catherine, at the Norman Manley International Airport last Sunday for breaches of the Forgery Act.
Reports are that about 8 p.m., Joseph arrived at the airport in Kingston from London, England. Anomalies discovered during processing by PICA led them to make checks with their counterparts in the United Kingdom, and it was subsequently discovered that Joseph purchased the British passport he presented.
He was subsequently charged with forgery and uttering forged documents.
He is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on September 22.
