Health centres reopened islandwide
October 04, 2016
With the exception of the Flankers Health Centre, all health centres across the island have been reopened.
Health centres were closed on yesterday as a safety precaution due the passage of Hurricane Matthew.
The Flankers Health Centre in Montego Bay, however, was closed today due to gun violence that forced the operations to be halted.
To date there have been no reports of deaths or injuries related to the passage of Hurricane Matthew.
As of 10 a.m. today, the Meteorological Service discontinued the tropical storm warning for Jamaica.
