Triple murder victims were gangsters - cops

The police yesterday said the three men who were murdered in Gregory Park, St Catherine, were gangsters.

According to the cops, the man are believed to be aligned to the top tier of the Umbrella Gang in Caymanas, St. Catherine.

Paul Parchment, 26, otherwise called 'Timmy', 'Short Man' or 'Teacha' as well as Nicholas Harris, 29, otherwise called 'Skumpa' or 'Laughy Laughy', and an unidentified man were shot and killed in Gregory Park on Thursday.

Parchment who is said to be a prominent member of the gang was implicated in the murder of Robert Smith in 2014 while Harris, was identified as one of two men that issued threats on the life of a senior police officer.

The police have said they have been told that both men were seen regularly parading the community with illegal firearms, which they used to intimidate residents.
