Men arrested for stealing TV

Two residents of Kitson Town in St Catherine are currently in police custody after a television set was stolen from a house in their community.

Those charged are Oneil Shakespeare, otherwise called 'Oney', and Patrick Reid, otherwise called 'Donkey Eye'.

Shakespeare has been charged with housebreaking and larceny, while Reid has been charged with receiving stolen property.

Reports are that on December 3, Shakespeare allegedly broke into a house in Mary's Field, Kitson Town, from which he stole a 32-inch Samsung television.

He allegedly sold it to Reid for $15,000.

Following an investigation, both men were charged.

Shakespeare and Reid are to appear in the St Catherine Parish Court on January 9, where they are expected to answer to the charges.
