Man charged with killing boss

The St Andrew Central police have charged the man accused of murdering the co-owner of Moncrieffe's Patio Shop on Old Hope Road, St Andrew, last Friday.

THE WEEKEND STAR has learnt that 26-year-old Omar Graham, otherwise called 'Brown Man', of Alexander Road in Kingston, was charged on Wednesday.

Graham is charged with the murder of 76-year-old Barbara Moncrieffe and three counts of wounding with intent.

According to police reports, Graham went to his place of employment last week Friday, and an argument developed between him and his employer.

THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that he allegedly used an iron and a sharp object to inflict several wounds to Moncrieffe and her husband, as well as two other employees.

They were all rushed to the hospital where Moncrieffe was pronounced dead and the other three persons admitted in serious but stable condition.

Our news team understands that only one of the persons has since been released from hospital.

Graham is expected to answer to the charges during a scheduled appearance in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, April 6.
