Dispute over money

Allegations are that about 9:40 p.m. on September 30, 2016, Patterson and Hunter had a dispute over money.

It is said that Patterson was given an advance on a job both were doing. He was attacked by Hunter who chopped him twice.

Patterson reportedly retaliated with a machete and chopped Hunter under his neck.

Hunter later died and Patterson was treated at hospital for injuries received.

An investigation was conducted by the Linstead police and Patterson was charged with murder.

He is being represented by attorney Courtney Rowe.
