Construction worker stabbed to death
A man was stabbed to death while another is hospitalised under police guard following an argument triggered by a domestic dispute between the deceased and the mother of the injured man.
Information reaching THE STAR is that the St Mary police are investigating the stabbing death of 41-year-old Delroy Nicholson, a construction worker.
The incident occurred in Boscobel in the parish.
Reports from the Port Maria police are that about 11 p.m., Nicholson and his common law wife had a dispute when the woman's 21-year-old son got involved.
THE STAR gathered that both men used sharp instrument to inflict wounds on each other.
Our news team understands that both were rushed to hospital where Nicholson died while being treated.
The other man whose name is being withheld was admitted.
The Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) confirmed reports and told THE STAR that investigations are ongoing.
