Gun, ammunition found in Franklyn Town

One HS2000 9mm semi-automatic pistol along with 14 rounds of ammunition was seized on Cambridge Street, Franklyn Town in Kingston this afternoon.

Reports from the Franklyn Town police are that about 2 p.m., a team of officers was on an operation in the area when a premises was searched and the weapon and the ammunition found.

Three persons were taken into custody in relation to the find.

Their names are however being withheld pending further investigations.
