Man punches babymother for biting him
A Kingston man pleaded guilty to punching and kicking his girlfriend in the face several times after she bit him during a domestic dispute.
Keron Gordon was charged for assault occasioning bodily harm when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court last Friday.
Gordon pleaded guilty with an explanation.
When Presiding Judge Chester Crooks asked for his explanation, Gordon said that he got irate after the mother of his child bit him in the face.
"A mi babymother and mi never mean to kick her, but after she bit mi, mi did have to thump her in her mouth," Gordon said.
The complainant admitted that she indeed had provoked her child's father.
After the complainant admitted that, Crooks told Gordon that he was defending himself and should not have pleaded guilty.
The couple, however, told Crooks that they had started working out the matter and wanted to put it behind them.
Crooks sent the matter for mediation for them to continue to resolve the dispute.
