Josephine Campbell, one of St James' oldest residents, has died. Campbell, affectionately known as 'Aunt Jo', died last Tuesday, eight days shy of her 104th birthday.

"It is a Christmas gift that I never wanted," her 84-year-old son, Ransford Ruddock, told the WESTERN STAR.

The daughter of Emilia and Joseph Favours, she was raised in a humble, close-knit family. Her siblings four sisters and two brothers all predeceased her.

Aunt Jo married Clifford Campbell in June, 1943. He predeceased her.
