Woman found dead in fowl coop
Investigators in St Ann are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly woman, who was found hanging by a scarf in her fowl coop in the community of Williamsfield.
The incident, which occurred last Friday, has reportedly left an entire community in shock.
Dead is 60-year-old Lorna Chisholm-Mathews, a dressmaker of a Williamsfield, Lime Hall, St Ann.
The police said that they are investigating along the lines of a suspected suicide.
Reports from the St Ann's Bay police are that at about 11:50 a.m., a family member saw the body in a fowl coop hanging from a beam with a scarf tied around the neck.
The police were alerted, the scene processed and the body removed to the morgue.
