Man arrested for stealing from school
One man was arrested and charged following a break-in at the Holland Primary School in St Elizabeth on March 1.
Charged with larceny and receiving stolen property is 21-year-old Christopher Campbell of Middlesex district in the parish.
Reports from the Lacovia police are that at about 8 a.m. on Friday, March 2, teachers arrived at work and discovered that the school was broken into and that one 84-inch flat-screen television set and several grocery items were missing.
The police were summoned, and an investigation was immediately launched. This led to an operation being carried out at Campbell's house. The search resulted in the recovery of the television set. He was subsequently arrested and charged on Thursday, March 29.
Campbell is scheduled to appear before the St Elizabeth Parish Court later this week.
