Cell Phone Carnival: Man slapped with larceny charges after road march
A Manchester man was charged with three counts of larceny after he allegedly stole cellular phones and jewellery from persons who attended the Carnival Road March across the Corporate Area on Sunday.
The man, Jamar Myrie, of Kirkview Terrace, Ingleside, Manchester was held with five cellular phones and items of jewellery, which are believed to be stolen property.

Three persons have so far turned up at the Half-Way Tree Police Sation to identify the cellular phones.
The police are appealing to persons who may have been victims of larceny during the Carnival Road March to contact the Half-Way Tree Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) at 926-8184, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
