Five-year-old collapses, dies in taxi
The family members of five-year-old Zaiden Scott have expressed shock at the death of the child who reportedly collapsed and died while in a taxi.
THE STAR understands that on Tuesday at about 7:30 a.m., Scott, who is from Little London, Westmoreland, was travelling to school in a taxi with other children. It is said that the other kids alerted the driver to the fact that Scott was unresponsive.
When the driver went to investigate, he realised that the child was not moving.
The child was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
THE STAR understands that a post- mortem is being done to determine the cause of his death.
The police's Corporate Communications Unit confirmed the child's death.
