KFC has announced that it has discontinued its 'Crazy Tuesdays' promotion.

"Thank you to everyone who got Crazy with us over the past weeks! Crazy Tuesdays has come to an end. There will be NO Crazy Tuesday on July 3rd," KFC announced via Instagram.

There has been a rush on several KFC outlets since the restaurant, in late May, launched the promotion that offers customers seven pieces of chicken for $995.

"No this is no joke! and it’s too late for an April Fool’s joke so don’t even think it! We a bring out the crazy!," the restaurant said then on social media.

But today, with no explanation, KFC dropped another bomb by discontinuing the promotion.

However, the popular franchise is promising more promotions to come.
