Pipe work to cause water lock-offs
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers who are served by the Porus Pumping Station in Manchester that their water supply will be disrupted today between 8 a.m. and
8 p.m. to facilitate the inter-connection of the new 10-inch pipeline to the Broadleaf area network.
Areas to be affected will include Porus, Trinity, Red Berry Comfort, Broadleaf, Royal Flat, Williamsfield, Land Settlement, Hanbury, Kendal, New Green, Ingleside, alongside sections of Grey Ground, Grove Place, Tree Chains, Patrick Road, Gordon Road, Cypclair Close, Bonetto Crescent, Crest Haven, Melrose Mews and Dorby.
In a media release sent on Monday, the NWC urged customers to store water for use during the disruption period and apologised for any inconvenience.
