Sashelle Briscoe and Dishon Francis are the top 4-H clubbers in St Elizabeth for 2019.

Briscoe, a student of Lacovia High, was named top girl, while Francis, of Nain High, walked away with the top male prize at last Thursday’s St Elizabeth 4-H Clubs Parish Achievement Day Exposition held at the Alpart Sports Club.

The Best Project Work had four categories.

Nain walked away with the high school award, Siloah won in the primary section, and Corner Stone Prep/ECI took the prize for the early childhood institution.

Siloah women’s group topped the community section.

In the school gardens competition, Lacovia High, Holland Primary and Corner Stone Prep/ECI walked away as the respective winners.

Nain High beat Springfield and Munro College in the Climate Challenge section.

Richard Miller of Pepper Primary and Shanice Brown of Ginger Hill Primary were two lucky clubbers on the day, as they won two goats for their schools.

Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Ackera Gowie was on hand to make the most significant presentations.
