St Elizabeth communities to be without water
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that due to scheduled Jamaica Public Service Company maintenance work to be carried out in St Elizabeth on Friday, June 21, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., some customers will be without piped water.
In a release yesterday, the NWC urged customers to store water for use during the period they will be without the commodity.
The NWC sought to assure customers that water will be restored to them following the return of the power supply.
Areas to be affected include Luana, Black River, Point, Middle Quarters, Bailey Ground, New Holland, Craig and Baptist.
The entity asked for patience and understanding from its customers.
