Trelawny man charged with illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent
One man has been arrested and charged with two offences following an incident in New Hope, Warsop in Trelawny on Tuesday, September 8.
Charged with shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition is 25-year-old Rohan Bailey, otherwise called ‘Jim’, of the aforementioned address.
Reports from the Warsop police are that about 7:00 p.m., the complainant was on his way home when he saw Bailey pulled a firearm from his waistband and proceeded in his direction.
The complainant ran in bushes and Bailey allegedly fired several shots in his direction.
A report was made to the police and Bailey was apprehended and charged on Monday, September 21.
His court date is to be finalised.
