88 new COVID cases, 149 recoveries, one death

Of the 614 samples tested in Jamaica in the last 24 hours, 88 have tested positive for COVID-19, increasing Jamaica's total confirmed cases to 12,915 with 1,923 being active.

Of the new cases, 48 are males and 40 are females, with ages ranging from 33 days to 95 years.

Meanwhile, a 74 year old female from Trelawny is the latest Jamaican to die from COVID-19, pushing the death tally to 303.

In the meantime, there were 149 more recoveries, increasing the total to 10,532.

Some 84 persons are in hospital with 10 being moderately and eight critically ill.

According to the Ministry of Health, 45 persons are in government quarantine, while 29,156 are quarantined at home.
