104 new COVID-19 cases, no additional death recorded

Jamaica on Friday recorded 104 additional cases of COVID-19, with ages ranging from 1 month to 85 years, increasing the tally to 14,096.

Of those cases, 1,936 are active.

There was no new fatality, keeping the death tally at 323.

One more case was recorded as a coincidental death, moving that figure to 54. That case was previously under investigation.

Of the new confirmed cases, 47 are males, 56 are females and one case is under investigation.

In the meantime, there were 44 more recoveries, increasing the total to 11,674.

Some 116 persons are in hospital with 18 being moderately ill and 12 critically ill.
