145 new COVID cases, three deaths, 108 hospitalised

Jamaica on Monday recorded three COVID-19 deaths, increasing the death tally to 329.

Meanwhile of  the 911 samples tested in Jamaica in the last 24 hours, 145 have tested positive for COVID-19, pushing total confirmed cases to 14,419 with 2,179 being active.

Of the new cases, 54 are males and 91 are females, with ages ranging from 1 year to 87 years.

In the meantime, there were 16 more recoveries, increasing the total to 11,743.

Some 108 persons are in hospital with 24 being moderately and 11 critically ill.

According to the Ministry of Health, 22 persons are in government quarantine, while 21,389 are quarantined at home.
