Three shot, two fatally in Westmoreland

The police in Westmoreland have launched an investigation into a shooting that has left two persons dead, and another nursing wounds. 

The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old  Tedroy Chase otherwise called ' Teddy', and  46-year-old Ryan Williams, otherwise called 'Bad Coolie'. 

It is reported that about 9:50 p.m. on Monday, the two men were among a group of persons at a shop operated by a 29-year-old woman and her boyfriend.

It is further reported that armed men travelling on foot came to the establishment and opened fire hitting Chase, Williams and the shop owner, before escaping in the community.

The police were summoned and the wounded were rushed to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital, where both men were pronounced dead and the lone female treated and admitted in serious condition.
