Reigning daCosta Cup champions Clarendon College were surprised 2-1 by Dinthill Technical in their Group S quarter-final match at the Juici Beef Complex in Clarendon yesterday.

It was their first loss of the campaign and will put them under severe pressure to recover in a tough group that also features Rusea's High who edged Glenmuir 3-2 in their match at Jarrett Park.

At Jarrett Park, Rusea's clawed their way back from a goal down on the back of two goals from Deshane Beckford, after Kevon Lambert converted a 18th minute penalty to fire Glenmuir into the lead.

Rusea's found the equaliser with a penalty kick of their own, when Glenmuir goalkeeper Paul Beckford pulled down a Rusea's player inside the area, for his namesake from Rusea's, Deshane Beckford, to slot home in the 26th minute.

Tavon Barnes broke the stalemate for the 'Russians' in the 60th before Beckford completed the scoring in the 65th minute.
