Failures for Simmons, Sammy
BOTH West Indies players Lendl Simmons and Darren Sammy failed but their Rangpur Riders won their second straight game when they beat Sylhet Super Stars by six runs in a low-scoring contest here yesterday.
Opting to bat first, Riders were restricted to 109 for nine from their 20 overs at the Shere Bangla Stadium, with Simmons managing only 13 at the top of the order and Sammy scoring five, batting at number seven.

Seamer Mohammad Shahid grabbed four for 12.
In reply, Super Stars collapsed from 52 for two in the eighth over to 103 all out in the final over with Shakib once again in the limelight with three for 31.
Sammy earned one wicket from his solitary over which cost seven runs.
On Wednesday, West Indies batsman Marlon extended his good form by stroking an unbeaten 23 to help guide Comilla Victorians to a handsome eight-wicket win over Barisal Bulls.
Trinidadian Kevon Cooper top-scored with 22 from 21 balls as Bulls, opting to bat first, slumped to 89 all out in the penultimate over.
