Keyes unlocks Boys' Town win
Peter Keyes scored the winner as Boys' Town surprised champions Arnett Gardens in their south St Andrew derby in the Red Stripe Premier League at the Barbican playing field yesterday.
Keyes capitalised on a pass from Xavian Virgo to dispatch the ball into the net in the 35th minute as Boys' Town moved into seventh position in the league.
There was drama at the Frome Complex where Reno's goalkeeper was knocked down leading to an extended break in the home team's 1-0 win over Harbour View.
Denmar Gillings, three minutes into the second half, gave FC Reno the winning goal.
UWI continued their second-round rebound with a 3-2 win over Rivoli United at the UWI Mona Bowl.
Anthony Greenland opened the scoring for the hosts in the fifth minute before Corey Burke levelled things in the 13th for Rivoli.
Patrick Brown then put UWI ahead once again in the 23rd before Burke's 32nd minute strike made it 2-2.
Greenland finished things off for UWI with a goal in the 56th minute, while Humble Lion had a 1-0 victory over Tivoli.
