Muirhead sees bigger opportunity for Super50

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Chief Executive Officer, Michael Muirhead is optimistic about what the Super 50 tournament can achieve in a few years.

This, following a successful end to its flagship regional one-day international tournament the NAGICO Super 50.

The tournament, which ended last Saturday in Trinidad and Tobago, saw the defending 2015 champions, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force take the title.

The CEO is delighted at the opportunities this tournament presents and indicates that in future years, "there is a direct opportunity for corporate partners to align themselves with the WICB." The tournament which has been held under the NAGICO banner in the last three years has had a number of positives; "we are hoping to improve on some of the issues we encountered."
