LEXINGTON, Kentucky (CMC):

Noted Jamaican reinsman Shaun Bridgmohan reeled off a double to make his mark on Sunday's nine-race card here at Keeneland.

The 36-year-old captured the day's US$28,000 curtain-raiser aboard 3-1 chance Annoy and returned in the US$60,000 race to win with favourite Miss Pink Diva.

Bridgmohan has won four times in 21 rides in the month-long spring season.

He kicked off his success by carrying the five-year-old bay mare Annoy to a narrow victory over four-year-old and upward fillies and mares.

Going six furlongs, Samsonian took the lead with Bridgmohan and Annoy in pursuit from second and A Gala Day running third.

Leaving the turn, Annoy moved to the front to take a slim lead, and was forced to battle right down to the wire in order to come away with a three-quarter length victory.

Bridgmohan doubled up when he partnered with four-year-old roan filly Miss Pink Diva to make all the running and beat the three-year-old and upward maiden fillies and mares by 1-1/4 lengths.

Going a mile and eighth, Miss Pink Diva was taken in hand early, setting an easy pace with fractions of 24.56 for the opening quarter and 48.89 for the half.

In the stretch, C'Est Bon came to challenge, but Miss Pink Diva dismissed the threat with a sixteenth to run and reached the wire well clear.
