Jamaican diver graduates university with honours degree

Jamaican diver, Yona Knight -Wisdom is not only named among the 63-member team headed to the Rio Olympics, he is named among the Leeds Beckett University graduating class of 2016.

And while Knight-Wisdom was heavily involved in sports, he still managed to dive into the honours degree category.

He took to Facebook to announce his success.

"So it's confirmed I survived university, and have come out with an Upper Second Class Honours Degree (2:1) in Sport and Exercise Science, which included a 1st in my Dissertation! Unfortunately I won't be able to attend my graduation ceremony, however I kinda got to graduate early and with a twist...more pictures to come soon," he wrote.

He received a number of congratulatory comments and well wishes from friends who are happy about his university success and are eagerly anticipating same for the Olympics.
