Oracabessa Primary advance in school league

Oracabessa triumphed in both sports as the Oracabessa Foundation primary school league continued on Thursday at the James Bond Beach Complex with one match up each in netball and football against Mount Angus Primary.

Oracabessa won 2-1 in football and 17-2 in netball action.

In football, Oracabessa Primary, led by goals from Tyreek Jackson and Sheldon Bryan, defeated Mount Angus 2-1.

Ty-Cameron Stanford scored the consolation goal for Mount Angus.

In netball, Oracabessa Primary against led by Breanna Forsythe with 13 goals defeated Mount Angus 17-2. Abigail Pryce supported with four goals.

Amanda Anderson with two goals was Mount Angus' only scorer.
