Defending champions National Commercial Bank (NCB) won their second Western Sports-sponsored Norman Goodison Inter-Bank football JamClear Cup when they came from behind twice to clip favourites Sagicor 3-2 in the final last Sunday at Winchester Park, St George's College's.

Stephan Patterson gave Sagicor the lead in the 15th minute when his curling shot from 30 yards beat goalkeeper Duval Vassell. Damion Walker made it 1-1 in the 20th minute after he stabbed home a cross from captain Delon Dixon.

Beat goalkeeper

Andre Powell put Sagicor in front again in the 33rd minute. He was left unmarked at the back post and he easily beat goalkeeper Duval Vassell. The half ended 2-1.

Ceyon Francis scored NCB's second goal in the 69th minute as he met a corner from Delon Dixon at the top of the 18-yard box and headed it powerfully into the back of the net to make it 2-2.

The last 20 minutes of the game was an open affair with both teams missing easy chances. Captain Delon Dixon had his third assist of the game when Damion Walker reacted first after a corner kick to score the winner.

NCB will next play Inter Bank league champions Scotiabank on November 20 in the Champion of Champions match at the same venue.
