UWI FC will look to rebound from a November 6 1-0 defeat when they host Portmore United FC in a top-of-the-table clash in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) today at the UWI Bowl, Mona. Match time is 3 p.m.

The game is one of six scheduled to end round one of the nation's elite league.

UWI lost the league lead after they were clipped by defending champions Montego Bay United on November 6. Now, UWI and Humble Lion are on 20 points apiece with Humble Lion ahead on goal difference.

The Marcel 'Fuzzy' Gayle-coached team will look to skipper Rochane Smith who is the competition's joint leading goal scorer on six goals to pick up their seventh win. Smith is expected to get support from Dwayne Smith, Andrae Bernal, Anthony Greenland and Kemar Flemmings.

Portmore started the season slowly but have picked up momentum and should give UWI a stern test. Portmore's top players include captain Ewan 'Butter' Grandison, Stephen Williams and Damion Binns.
