Having made her international debut against England three years ago, Sunshine Girl Shanice Beckford is hoping to help Jamaica to victory against that country in their three Test series.

Beckford is one of Jamaica's most talented goal attacks and her consistency has impressed many, including national coach Minneth Reynolds who picked her as one of the players to watch.

"I think there is a little bit of pressure from the coach as she picks me as one of the players to watch, but I think I can handle it," she told STAR Sports in an interview.

The always-improving Beckford will be hoping to assist younger players.

"I am a senior player for the team now. Hasana Williams is my goal attack, so I have to go out there and show her the ropes and what to do," she said.

The 21-year-old Beckford was credited for her outstanding performances against New Zealand, and in Australia in the Fast5 World Netball Series in Australia, recently, despite Jamaica ending on a losing note on both occasions.

"I will be playing alongside Jhaniele creating moves in the circle, getting that ball up and assisting. My main aim is to shoot and I believe we can win," she said of England test, adding "I am over the New Zealand disappointments."
