Jamaica-born winger Leon Bailey could make his debut for his new club, Bayer Leverkusen, as early as tomorrow.
The German Bundesliga club, now ninth in the league, will be in action against Hamburg who are one from bottom in 17th place. Kick-off time is at 2:30 p.m. (Jamaica time).
Bailey completed a US12.8 million (J$1.6 billion) move from Genk on Monday. The 19-year-old impressed during his time at the Belgian Club scoring 15 goals and providing 21 assists in 77 league games. He also slammed in seven goals and three  assists in 12 European outings for Genk.
At Bayer Leverkusen, Bailey will join up with 28 year-old Mexican Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez, a former Manchester United star. Hernandez who has scored six times this season was the club's leading marksman in the league last year with 17 goals.
On Tuesday the Bayer sporting director, former German international Rudi Voeller, heaped praise on Bailey.

Extraordinarily fast

"He is an extraordinarily fast and tricky player who will boost our attack," Voeller said.
Bailey posted a message on his Instagram account two days ago expressing his love for Jamaica.
"To my Jamaican fans, you fuel me and I love Jamaica and will always represent as a true out of many one people person. Love you and keep praying for me."
     Bailey also hailed Bayer Leverkusen.
"I would like to take this time to express my thanks to Bayer Leverkusen for believing in me enough to give me this opportunity. I will ensure I wear the jersey with honour and pride.
