Netball Jamaica will have a tough time finding a national senior team coach as most of the coaching staff object to working with team technical director Maureen Hall, STAR Sports sources have revealed.

Sunshine Girls coach Minneth Reynolds resigned in November and since then there has been no replacement.

Netball Jamaica advertised for the position and only two persons are said to have applied for the job before the deadline earlier this month.

However, STAR Sports was reliably informed that the problem rests with technical director Hall, who has responsibility for overseeing all the national teams.

Our source, who did not wish to be named, said Hall was overstepping her duties and going as far as to override decisions of the coaches in selecting players after a team had already been chosen.

"Nobody wants to work with her and that's why they can't find a coach," our source revealed.

Netball Jamaica has been in internal turmoil in the last 15 months since Paula Daley-Morris became president of the association.

Last October Daley-Morris and star goal shooter Romelda Aiken were at odds over the whether or not the player, who lives in Australia, would be available to represent Jamaica in the Fast5 World Series.
