The UWI FC and Jermaine Johnson continued their seemingly unstoppable run of form in the Red Stripe Premier League football this season.

While UWI took down Reno of Westmoreland 1-0 at UWI Mona Bowl, Jermaine Johnson notched his 14th goal for Tivoli Gardens.

The win helped take second season campaigners UWI FC to 54 points, extending their lead by five points more than Humble Lion with 49 points and a game in hand.

Interestingly, Patrick Brown, who scored in the 11th minute for UWI, isn't even on the top list of leading league scorers.

That is led by Johnson who landed a 31st-minute strike in his team's 1-1 draw with Marverley-Hughenden.

In a battle of the relegation fighters, Boys' Town beat Jamalco 2-1.

In the late game, hosts Waterhouse went down 1-0 to Harbour View.
