We will take care of business

Rivoli United's head coach Anthony Thompson

Anthony Thompson is confident that Rivoli United can defy the odds and qualify for next season Red Stripe Premier League.

The Rivoli coach believes that his team will take care of business against out of contention Priory SA at Prison Oval in the final round of the Magnum/Charley's JB/JFF play-off on Sunday. And, equally confident that Sandals will not gain a point against already qualified Cavalier.

"Cavalier should go out there on Sunday and just play some football. This Sandals team is not good, I know that they could not beat us at Prison Oval. If Cavalier play football they (Sandals) cannot beat them," Thompson confidently told STAR Sports yesterday.

Available promotion

Cavalier secured a speedy return to the Premier League on Sunday following a 2-0 win over Priory at Drax Hall on Sunday. The Rudolph Speid-coached team pushed to nine points, and cannot be passed by two teams.

Sandals South Coast are in second position on eight points after been thrashed 4-1 by Rivoli United at Prison Oval. The win moved Rivoli United onto five points and into contention for the other available promotion spot. Priory are out of the race with only four points.

He also said Priory might come to prove a point against his team.

"I am expecting a fight from Priory, but we will take care of business at home. We played three of the first four games away, so the draw was not in our favour," Thompson said.
