Under 21 netballers miss out on WYC semi-finals
For the first time in more than 20 years Jamaica's Under 21 netballers have failed to advance to the semi-finals of a world youth championships.
The Jamaicans hopes were dashed when they were beaten 55-38 by England in their quarterfinal game at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Gabarone, Botswana yesterday. The Jamaicans were also beaten by hosts Botswana earlier this week.
The Jamaicans, who won the bronze at the last Championships in Glasgow in 2013, now will be playing for the fifth and sixth spots at the tournament.
