'I am happy at Barca' - Neymar pours cold water on PSG's reported US$254 million deal
Barcelona's Brazilian superstar has been the subject of a rumoured US$254 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, with reports in his home country claiming that the striker was in support of a move to the French capital.
However, Barcelona's vice-president, Jordi Mestre, reassured the club's fans that the star player would be at the club in the coming season, with the player himself also seeming to support that statement.
"I am happy here," said Neymar when asked about his future.
"(Last season) was the season where I felt more comfortable, even though we did not win the titles we would have wanted. We played great games and lived incredible moments. Now, we need to work for the 2017-18 season, so it will be even more positive individually and as a group," Neymar added.
PSG recently added Neymar's Brazilain teammate and former Barcelona stalwart Dani Alves to their squad, which also includes world stars Edinson Cavani, Julian Draxler, Angel Di Maria, and Marco Verratti.
